How Does Central Air Conditioning Work?

Refrigerant is pumped through the central air system from the exterior compressor coil to the interior evaporator coil, cooling it and allowing it to absorb the heat from the air and transferring that heat outside where it can be rejected from your home. The cooled air is then pushed throughout your home with the help of your furnace. This refrigeration cycle continues over and over again, providing a consistent method to keep your home cool all day long.
